Artist Tom W., from Fairbanks, Alaska, is famous for his pen and Ink drawings and has pieces in several Museums. His drawings can be found on Antlers as well as fossilized bones and tusks of prehistoric animals. This piece is from a Woolly Mammoth which were abundant in Alaska at the time. A the time Alaska and Russia were connected by land. This very rare Ivory tusk tip piece measures 7” tall including the stand which is ¾” of that.
