These genuine mink slippers were hand crafted by Alaskan Native hand crafter and artist Lilly Killbear and are new from artist. She puts not only her proud tradition into every piece, but a lot of hard work and care into each creation. Just look at the stitching and attention to detail on these slippers and it’s easy to see. Caribou hide bottom sole with nice comfortable felt inside liner. These are as authentic as they come, light weight, very warm, made to last, all natural. They are a piece of history which may not last much longer, with cultural significance, and it is a timeless work of art as well. Lilly has artwork displayed in museums, as well as public and private buildings throughout Alaska. They also make a very nice home décor and great conversation piece. Artist bio included.
